Linderman is explaining to Nathan as they walk through his art gallery that he is responsible for the nuke explosion to come in NYC, and that the reason is the resultant crisis will unite the rest of the world! He alludes to having a power, being part of a earlier group who were doing good deeds, but later fell apart; some of them becoming the cabal (The Company) we've seen so far. He feels that he's doing the world a favor. He also makes a comment about Hiro stealing the sword.

Tidbits from other sources:
The cut on Peter's forehead inflicted by Sylar is not "the scar". That happens later. (It may be related to glass fragments.)
Sylar "dies" in episode 19 after being pushed out a window, but comes back to life.
Matt uses his powers to help himself, HRG, and Ted escape from Primatech.

I couldn't resist doing research v.v Apirl 23rd is way to far away, but yeah looks like a big show for Heroes

lol im so happy Syler dosent die and the way the scar is somethign else is crazy keeps u thinking ,

Hmmm, Sylar either picks up invincibility in that episode or he can get powers like Peter and just needs to be around them.

Also doesnt the Sylar/Peter meeting mean that Peter has no picked up all Sylars' powers?

I always assumed that Sylar has Peter's powers just goes the extra mile and fucks up his victim by cuting them open and scooping out there brain because hes a loser/ is crazy. So wouldn't be suprised if he picked it up when he was around Claire and didn't kill her just didn't know he got it.

Also, I hope it does mean that Peter has Sylars powers now lol, Peter could have so much use for that ablity to melt random pots and pans not to mention all his super hearing and super brain power (I always thought Charlie died of a Brain thingy and not by Sylar, but I suppose I was wrong).

Yeah I kinda get the feeling that Sylar has to open their heads to get their powers.

Unless he just gets them ala Peter and like TOL said, just likes to see "how things work" and debrains them for the fun of it.
