Re: Ghost Rider

I haven't seen it yet, but I am a bit weary with Cage playing the main role here. I am a big fan of his, but in this role I am a little shakey

Re: Ghost Rider

I saw it.

I thought it was a bit on the corny side with the dialog and contrived ending but for what it was I enjoyed it.

6/10.

For a superhero movie though it could have been a lot better.

Re: Ghost Rider

he does good. He is a life long Comic Book fan so that should tell you he wanted this role, and he did well in it.

Re: Ghost Rider

He did well but they could have done a lot more with the role.

I would have appreciated an expanded part on the whole relationship between the Rider personality and Johnny being torn over living his own life and saving others.

In the comic it took a long time for him to accept this is what he had to do.

The movie had him accept the Rider role way too easy...

Re: Ghost Rider

I haven't seen it, but looking at the previews, it doesn't look good. And this is coming from a huge Nick Cage and comic book fan.

Ghost Rider was such a dark character in the comic books. In the comics, Blaze is tricked by the demon-lord Mephisto, and the demon Zarathos was grafted to Blaze's body.

If you look at it that way, the movie seems like it is too light and airy for me. Plus, I've heard they tried to inject comedy into it..

..sigh..tsk tsk to Marvel for allowing this.
