Britney Spears Back in Rehab Back For 3rd Time

After a tumultuous 5 days, Britney Spears may have checked herself back in a chemical dependency unit this afternoon. Yesterday the Sun UK said Britneyâ€™s mom was troubled over Britneyâ€™s recent bizarre behavior and was on her way from Louisiana to Malibu. Today TMZ says:

"Sources say the singer has checked into an in-patient facility in Los Angeles. We're told the move came after family members, including her mom, pressed her to check in. Spears entered the facility today. Last week, Spears checked herself into a rehab facility in Antigua but checked out less than 24 hours later."

Britney Spears Flees Rehab Again

MALIBU, Calif. - Britney Spears left a live-in rehabilitation facility early Wednesday, less than a day after checking in, according to several reports.

It was the second time in a week that Spears entered a rehab facility and checked out within hours.

The television news magazine "The Insider" initially reported that Spears called a car service, walked out of the Promises rehabilitation center and left the facility early Wednesday morning.

Later, the TV show "Extra" and the Web site TMZ.com said Spears, 25, left the center far short of the usual 45-day stay.

The girl needs some serious guidance or help. Someone or something needs to step in, knock some sense into here and get her attenchion. To be honest, this is where a mother would come in handy. We are watching her self-destruct.

Lets hope she doesn't run into the next 'Anna Nicole Smith' and die before she gets the help that she needs.

TMZ has confirmed Britney Spears is back in rehab.

We're told the singer is hoping three times is a charm. The emergency custody hearing that Kevin Federline wanted has been cancelled because of the new development. There will be no custody hearing today.

Sources tell TMZ Federline is concerned for Spears' welfare and wants her to get the help she is now seeking. We're also told this weill be Spears' last chance -- if she leaves rehab before getting full treatment, Federline will immediately go to court seeking orders allowing him unquestioned full custody of the children.

We're told Spears showed up at Federline's house last night and he wouldn't' let her in.

Sources say the kids are now in the custody of Federline and have been since last week.

TMZ has just confirmed Spears' inpatient rehab program is supposed to last between 30 and 45 days.

But, hell, you never know anymore with her. Now that she's in her 'fucked up' stage maybe she'll finally pose for Playboy.

Reports are circling that this is the reason they were getting a divorce in the first place and now that K-Fed is on his own he has a more level head than Britney.

Good lord I never thought the day would come where I would be typing that.

She needs some serious therapy. I wonder how much her publicists is paid? That guy has to do more explaining than the White House Press Secretary.

Apparently reporters were on hand when K-Fed would not let her in the house last night.

She is said to have attacked his car for 45 minutes with an umbrella before her Mom finally picked her up.

She entered rehab this morning as stated above.
