| Best Director ever? In your opinion who do you think the best director ever is? There are many, George Lucas, Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg are some of the obvious ones. While they are great directors and have done brilliant things in the past and are contining to do great things today but I find they had alot of budget to work with which makes it easier. Ron Howard is a possibility but I don't think he's done anything special. Many people love Quentin Taritino but personally I think he is very overrated and he relies too much on violence to get his films over and doesn't focus enough on the actual acting or storyline just violence violence violence. My favorite actor ever is the one...the only...the mastermind Alfred Hitchcock The man invented so many shots that we take for granted today, invented new ways of scaring people, took directing to a whole new level so many the man is a god among men...ALFRED!!!!!!!!!!!!! !... DISCUSS! obviously I missed alot and I know some of you probably expected me to say Zach Braff I'm not that much of a mark, but yea I'm not great at remebering names and I know i forgot plenty of names. | ||||||||||||||

| Peter Jackson is the best. Lord Of The Rings was pure class. They never get boring IMO. Always entertaining. He also did king Kong, not as good as his others but it was still a great movie...Although the ending kinda dragged on...>.> | ||||||||||||||

George Lucas for me. Star is my favorite movie series of all time. The episodes 1-3 were great for action, but 4-6 were pure classics that i never get tired of watching them. He had done some other good stuff like American Graffiti(sp?) Him and Steven Spielberg are great. | |||||||||||||||

| I still say Hitchcock while his films aren't scary by today's standard he was a revolutionary, the man invented so many different shots that are used today in nearly every movie, his movies were and are still be copied and he was a genuis with his plot turns and the way his movies ended. | I'd either say Peter Jackson or Steven Spielberg. For Spieldberg, the name says it all. No doubt he's a legend when it comes to directing. Jackson on the other turned the Lord of the Rings books into great film which attracted tons of attention to not only the movie itself, but Tolkeins Middle Earth books. I wouldn't have read the Trilogy along with the Hobbit if I hadn't heard of the books. I didn't see his take on King Kong as the story never really had me wanting to see it.. | ||||||||||||||

| Hithcock did have some very very good movies. Like Rear Window and the Birds. Yet I find it funny that he did not have a belly button. | ||||||||||||||
