The group arrived on stage over an hour late for their comeback show at London's Hammersmith Apollo and the gig did not finish until 1:00 a.m. — long after the trains had stopped running. Many furious fans, who had booed for half-an-hour before the band hit the stage, were left without a way of getting home or were forced to leave before the end of the group's 130-minute show. Rep Power: 59 | axl is a fucking legend, last nite was the best two hours of my life. their was an hour between funeral for a friend and guns but for 50 mins people were chanting for guns n roses, some times only small groups but other times every person there was chanting ''guns.... n.... roses.... guns....n....roses'' the only problem was it was still bright so the pyros didnt work to the best, still awesome tho. the intro had to be changed due to the facter of light (usually its dark). for welcome to the jungle, its so easy and mr brownstone you couldent hear axl sing with the crowd singing every lyric timed to perfection. in summary it was fucking awesome and worth the wait. hopefully they come back next year. | |
