So what did you guys think of last nights episode? Do you like the new people they are bringing in?

I personally think the 24 concept is really really really cool, but last night was THE most unrealistic thing that they have tried to do with it so far to date.

I mean come on...........Jack gets off the plane after an undisclosed amount of time (but it had to have been a minimum of months) and like 3 minutes later is getting briefed on the new terror attacks on the US.

You would think they would be more grateful of the things he has done and or at least like a hug or even a pastrami sandwich. Homeboys gotta be hungry.

I also liked how he went from beard and long hair to regular looking Jack in under 4 minutes. He should have been a barber, not a CTU agent.

One more thing that annoys the crap out of me about the show is how they never freaking trust Jack. If I were Wayne Palemr I would be like "Oh Jack said that aliens are attacking with thristy kittens, I would bust out as much milk as I could no matter how ridiuculous it sounded. START LISTENING TO JACK !!

They are also teasing a mental breakdown or a 'weaker' Jack this year. If you ask me it was a bad year to chose to do that. I reckon there are ALOT of new viewers simply because they won the Emmy last year for Season 5. Or it could just be them giving us even more reason to like Jack.

Either way it looks like a great season. They always seem to touch on stuff that kinda shouldnt be touched storyline wise.

I for one was left in shock that they'd actually go that far.

Bravo to the show for having the balls to show what it would be like.

Judging by next week's preview I assume it triggers Jack back into action.

Also is it me or does the defense secretary dude look like he is in bed with the terrorists; or is he just acting like a dick?

Well, the rest of the season should be pretty interesting...Jack's gotta be pretty pissed off now

She was on the show 'Justice' but it was canceled after one season. It was a really good show too.

I love the breakdown of Jack too. It's so realisitic considering the shit he has gone through in 5 prior days.

A couple questions.

Do you think Curtis is dead? They never said "He's gone" or anything. They just made you assume he was dead. Whenever they fail to actually say the words I have to think twice.

Who is who? Who is Palmers VP? Is it Karen Hayes? She was the head of Homeland Security in Day 5, but what exactly is her role now?

Also, where is Mike Novack? Do you think we will see him? Season 1 original.

Karen Hayes was not the VP if I remember correctly.

Wasn't she Defense Secretary here as well? I'm confused on that as well.

Yes they are handling the breakdown perfectly. Look at the wounds on his hands and back as well. Every time one of the characters see it they stare and immediately you know this man has gone through some unspeakable things. Two years of that stuff and he survived.

I really like the new Series. I loved the fact that Jack had to shoot Curtis and then the bomb went off. The only problem 24 has is that is was really predicatable last season and when Jack and Curits went into the house to save that kid from Ahmed at the last second I thought here we go again.

Then they exploded a nuke. Shit.

I love 24, shame Tony is dead though. Tony ruled.

Tony and Michelle should have lived throughout the series with Jack and Chloe. Too many new faces. I really like seeing the core same people back.

Now Curtis is gone too? Geeeez louise. It kinda doesnt feel like 24 anymore without them all.
