So, if this report from Page Six is correct, it basically means that Lindsay Lohan is an Alcoholic. Not really news, I know, but it pretty much confirms what everyone has known for a while. Whether or not those Lindsay Lohan drug overdose rumours were true or not, we know that she's been wearing an Alcoholics Anonymous pin (even though it's not hers, because there's no way she's ever been 90 days sober), and we know Lindsay likes Jack Daniel's and drinking in the car.
"A Los Angeles spy reports seeing her yesterday at a 7:30 a.m. AA meeting near her apartment in the Sierra Towers. A friend of Lohan confirmed, "She has attended several meetings and has hopefully decided to turn her life around - this time for good. She is out of control."
Lohan skipped Thanksgiving with her mom, Dina, and her family because she knew "someone would force an intervention on her." So Dina - who likes a party almost as much as her wild-child daughter - has arrived in L.A. to convince Lindsay to stay home some nights.
The actress is filming "The Best Time of Our Lives" with Keira Knightley for the next five weeks - and then, friends hope "she will really get serious about getting sober. And drop out of the limelight for a while." A rep for Lohan declined comment.
The biggest surprise in all this is that Lindsay is actually going to meetings. Obviously, it's not doing anything yet, but who knows. Maybe, just maybe, Lindsay will embrace a more laid back lifestyle.

Lol, sorry I just find it funny. Several witnesses? Ya, and I am sure they were paid well for their story too. Sometimes these stories rub me the wrong way. Why not just freaking ask her. I'm glad im not in the spotlight.

It's pretty obvious she's a drunk. Every time I turn around there's a pic or talk about her and Paris going out, and it usually includes a shot of Lohan looking drunk.
I bet if I followed Blade around with a camera... Oh hi.

NEW YORK - Lindsay Lohan has been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, her publicist said Friday. "She started attending some, and I think it's a positive thing," Leslie Sloane told The Associated Press. "My biggest fear is who's the big idiot to out which (chapter) she goes to."
She said Lohan, 20, made the decision on her own to attend meetings, although Sloane added: "And, by the way, she's not saying ... she'll stop drinking tomorrow."
"It's a place to go and feel safe," she said. "No one judges her, and it's going to be a slow process. But, to me, the fact that she's seeing that there's something not right makes her smarter than the next person."
In an interview Friday with E! Entertainment Television's Ryan Seacrest, Lohan's mother, Dina, echoed Sloane's comments. "That is true ... It's a positive thing," she said.
The New York Post first reported sightings of Lohan at an AA meeting earlier this week. The actress, who's currently filming "The Best Time of Our Lives," recurringly makes that paper's gossipy Page Six and other celebrity columns for her hard-partying ways.
Sloane said she thinks the press was unfair to Lohan by ridiculing a statement the actress wrote following last week's death of Robert Altman, who directed her in "A Prairie Home Companion."
A sad Lohan wrote the rambling letter "on the fly" on her Blackberry, Sloane said.
The letter, in which Lohan signs off with "BE ADEQUITE," has been criticized by a number of media observers for its grammatical errors and misspellings, among other things _ including exploiting Altman's death for her own publicity purposes.
Patt Morrison, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times, derided it on The Huffington Post Web site as "alarmingly incoherent" and said Altman might find it "comedic."
"I want everyone to leave her the hell alone," Sloane said. "I'm so bored of this with her. No matter what she does, it's never good enough for everybody"
