Best Sports Movie Ever?

Talking about Gridiron Gang got me thinking...

If you could only pick 1 sports movie as the best, which would it be? I'm talking about baseball movies, football, basketball, racing, tennis, hockey, golf, anything.

My choice has been the same movie since I was a kid: Field of Dreams.

Hopefully you've at least heard of it, but if you haven't seen it, definetely pick it up.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/1/2008)

There is no part of American life that hasn't been soiled by the new, softer, artificial language. It's everywhere. When you travel, you notice it in the hotel business, or as they prefer to think of themselves now, the hospitality industry.

I'm not saying it's the best, but one I really enjoy, although I haven't seen it for ages is Mystery Alaska.
Edge will rise again...

Major League 1 and 2 have always been my favorites.

Theres been a slew of good sports movies over the last few years. Its difficult to pick just one but these are 5 that come to mind which are all pretty solid films.

1.) Remember the Titans (Denzel on form with some cracking support)
2.) Major League 1 and 2 if like some comedy.
3.) Coach Carter is a really good film with Sam L Jackson taking a really good turn in the lead.
4.) Jerry Maquire
5.) Friday Night Lights (If I had to pick then this is the one I would say is the best.) If I remember rightly Freak hates this film, but I love it. I recently read the book which is even better. Great book unless you come from Texas and then maybe not.

Friday Night Lights is good. I actually was born in Midland texas and lived there until I was 10. And I moved back there when I was 16 and left when I was 18. It its true. Midland and Odessa hate eachother.

I really like all sports movies.

Coach Carter was awesome, Miricle, Titans, even the Longest Yard was alright. hah

But by far the best movie(s) are the three in the classic trilogy, The Mighty Ducks!!!
Everything about it and all the characters in it are awesome.
It's fun, and exciting and at times really sad.
They are all around the best sports movies ever!

Remember the Spyda, dude ..

Gotta agree, Major League was one of the best ones. Bob Uecker was hilarious!
