I haven't watched too many horror movies, and honestly can't remember too many I really liked. I enjoyed "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" though.

I can't pick a favorite horror flick. I simply like too many of them. I'm into the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, Friday the 13th franchise, Evil Dead, Sleepaway Camp, Exorcist I and III, Saw I and II, The Omen, Carrie, Creepshow, Christine, The Howling, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Halloween and the list goes on and on and on.

When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. The best series is Nightmare on elm street without a doubt, although I like the story in the Halloween movies much better.
I'm really lookin forward to the third Saw movie too.
Rob Zombies two movies were incredible, and I'm really lookin forward to his version of Halloween.
But I think the best horror movie ever for me I'd have to go with Poltergeist. Hellraiser would be a close second.
