It was expected to blow all other films out of the market though.

Its got a long way to go to make up the cost it took to make the picture.

I liked it too btw. Im just dissapointed more people arent seeing it.

Yeah, but $108,000,000 isn't anything to sneeze at. It's also breaking IMAX records right now. It'll definitely break $200 million domestic and make bank on DVD. People were using Spider-man as a bench mark, whereas WB was using Batman Begins as a benchmark.

Sure, it was an expensive movie, but it was also the first film in a 19 year long dormant franchise that had to shake off two bad sequels as well.

Supes is doing fine. It's getting great reviews and people are liking it. I know I've seen it three times already.

When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

I hope so man, I hope so.

It's a great film and it deserves to make a boat load of money.

It's doing pretty well, but with a $260 million budget it has a long way to go to make that up.

I plan to watch it once it comes out on DVD.

About 40-50 million of that is from the failed projects that never came to fruition. Singer's film cost about $200 million. It won't make everything back in the theatrical run, but once it hits DVD it will. Plus the merchandise is selling to the kiddies I'd assume.

Added: Total as of Wednesday: $114,000,000. It'll be at $120 million by tomorrow and should be up to $140-145 million by the end of the weekend.
