Did anyone actually see it?

I did, and I thought it was really, really good. Maybe not quite so brilliant as some people are saying... but no, it was actually pretty incredible.

I already told Miakal how I brought my girlfriend, who comes from a really Christian family and who thinks homosexuality is unnatural. Her reactions were pretty funny throughout, but slowly I think she's starting to side with the gay cowboys a bit more.

I think I will go see it, but I know I'm going to be a but uncomfortable. I have absolutly no problem with gay people, I just always get a case of the giggles when I see two men kiss. It freaks me out a bit. Same with when women kiss.

Everyone in the theatre will hate me. I should probably rent it.

I refuse to see this movie, the only reason its getting any attention is because its about gays. Now i have nothing wrong with gays, but my point is that this movie is nothing but a gimmick. If it was the same exact story but one of the cowboys was a cowgirl or whatever... nobody would give a shit. Its just like Titanic, the only reason that movie was so good was because it was about Titanic... it won all these awards it didnt deserve. If that movie was the exact same story but the ship wasnt the titanic nobody would have given a shit. I just dont think Brokeback Mountian deserves all this attention. I'd rather see a movie with just a good story and no gimmick attached.

I refuse to watch it. Apart from the jokes we make at Tafe referencing South Park's "Two Gay Cowboys Eating Pudding"

No, I'm kidding.. One of my boys went and saw this with his GF and said it wasn't that bad, but he did get grossed out at some parts. I don't know if I'll ever watch it. It just doesn't seem like something that would be all that interesting to me. Not because they are gay.. I couldn't care less about that, I just don't know what would really grab me about it. The story sounds like something I've seen before only they are gay.
