Rep Power: 15  | Joaquin Phoenix In Car Accident LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com)- Joaquin Phoenix walked away unhurt after flipping his car and crashing into another vehicle in the Hollywood Hills on Thursday afternoon. According to media reports, the "Walk the Line" Golden Globe winner was driving on Lookout Mountain Avenue near Laurel Canyon Avenue when brake failure caused his car to overturn and eventually crash into another car. Phoenix was reportedly wearing his seatbelt and exited the vehicle without any notable injuries. The passenger in the other car was similarly unharmed. The injury isn't expected to keep Phoenix away from the Screen Actors Guild awards ceremony this weekend, where he's a candidate for best actor for his turn as Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line." |
