We were discussing some thoughts on people with disabilities in The Water Cooler earlier today, which reminded me of the new movie starring Johnny Knoxville. If you've been living under a rock, the plot of the movie is about a guy (Johnny Knoxville) who owes several thousands of dollars. With the help of his Uncle they come up with a plan to enter the special olympics and win some prize money, with a plan of Johnny acting handicapped.
A lot of people have argued that it's cruel and immoral as it makes fun of people with some kind of disabilities. Others claim it's a movie that is doing great for those with special needs as it brings a great amount of attention towards the special olympics organizations.
I haven't seen the movie myself so I can't comment on it yet, but what is your opinion on it?
