Rep Power: 94   | Television Actors to Film Actors So can it be done succesfully or do guys/girls that have been on the small screen too long inevitably fail on the big screen? If so why is that? Do we stereotype these actors in our minds or is it just because they lacked the big screen appeal in the first place and that was essentially why they were on tv anyway? What about when guys from movies have loads of flops and become TV actors....hello Rob Lowe? Does that work for you or does it just look a little too weird? | |

Rep Power: 15 | It has been done before, Jim Carey was on "In Living Color" before becoming a big movie actor(although he had a few small movie parts before then). I think when someone plays a character for a long time you asscoiate them with that type of character which can make it hard for them to play different roles on the big screen. |
