I'm surprised it did as well as it did. I haven't seen it getting any good reviews with Mr. Moviephone saying it's like a medicore version of 8 Mile.

I can't say i'm suprise Harry Potter did so well, although I hate the books and movies and i'm so happy that she only plans to do one more book.

So far each movie has brought in less than the previous one did, although for some reason this movie had the best opening weekend of all 4 movies.

The opening weekend figures for the Harry Potter movies have increased each time, but the overall gross tends to be a bit lower. It still makes a crap load of money and cleans up in DVD sales and rentals.

I guess "not as well as the first one" would be more appropriate. I just can't believe how many people can sit through those movies, I can at least take comfort in the fact that the total revenue has decreased with each movie.
