One thing I really hate about network television is generally speaking, all the best shows are on at the same freaking time.

For example. Thursdays have always been a big day for networks to fight it out, as well as Mondays and Sundays.

Then Tuesday and Wednesday is generally poop.

You would think a top show like The Apprentice would want to not go against the number 1 show in CSI.

Put it on Wedneday night and dominate the slot.

Does this make too much sense or is it all in the advertising dollars that dictate schedules?

I don't have TiVo, but I do have a DVR from my cable company and I love it. It's perfect for Tuesday nights when there is nothing good on TV. Simon is right though, why not put shows on different nights throughtout the weeK? I'm sure The Apprentice would get higher ratings on Tuesday or Wednesday than it does now.

what? no way, Tvo is the original and the best! I had Tvo first and when
I was living in Texas I had DVR. Let me tell you, I missed Tvo.

TiVo is just a fancier DVR, they have the same basic functions and I am more than happy with the DVR service from my cable company.

I think because people generally watch more television Thursday then Wednesday night. There's more viewers to win over and bigger advertisement dollars with that prize.
