Rep Power: 61   | TV Review: Nip/Tuck Season 3 Title: Nip/Tuck Season 3 Category : Drama Top Actor/Actresses involved: Dylan Walsh as Sean and Julian McMahon as Christian  Kelly Carlson as Kimber  Rhona Mitra as Kit  Joely Richardson as Julia  Basic description of show: Sean McNamara and Christian Troy are two plastic surgeons running a partnership in Miami, Florida. Basically this season is about a serial killer named the Carver. Late last season The Carver began slashing and molesting male and female victims. Sean agreed to help the victims of the mad man find peace and began rebuilding their faces. Shortly thereafter the killer breaks into Sean's house and slashes Sean's face telling him not to help repair any more of his victims faces. This all lead up to the big finale last season where Sean set a trap and lay in wait for the killer to attack him in his bedroom. The final episode of Season two ended with the killer going to Christian Troy's house instead and the camera faded to black as Christian was slashed. This season so far has dealt with the after effects of Christian's attack. I just finished watching episode five last night and this show gets better and better. Christian is arrested when a condom is found at the latest Carver victim's bedroom containing his semen. He is accused of being the serial killer all along. The drama that ensues made for one of the most engrossing and at the same time hideous hours of TV I have watched in a long time. Favorite Character: Julian McMahon as Christian Troy: McMahon obviously enjoys playing this role and it shows on screen. He plays the playboy character but at the same time can give off that emotional depth of someone who is more than they appear. I wasn't fond of his Dr. Doom in Fantastic Four but this is a character he was born to play. Quotes: Christian Troy: You had no right to fire my nanny. Gina Russo: I don't want my child around cheap common whores. Christian Troy: He's around you all the time. Oh correction, you're an expensive whore. Sean McNamara: Remember, We're treating a patient here, not just a vagina. Christian Troy: That's easy for you to say. You've never been with Vagina Gina. Sean McNamara: What? So I have you to thank for this? Christian Troy: No, you have my 10 inch dick to thank for this. Overall Rating: Easily one of the best shows ever put on a television screen. | |
