That was the 1949 serial collection while the new one is the 1943 serial collection. Why 1949 came out before 1943 is what I don't understand :erm2:

EDIT: Only one I found that hasn't been out for a while says no date is known. Think I will pick it up though if it is released this week for sure and if it isn't then I will whenever it is released. Nice to see a collection of his that doesn't involve Scarface or his more known films like that :happy:

Yeah I thought he might have meant that. Amazon has a deal running right now where you can buy both the 1943 and 1949 collections for $35.
edit: Yeah the Al Pacino set they were scheduled to release this week. I don't know what's going on with that but I put it up just in case. Hopefully they'll get it out in time.
It will go on my Christmas List along with Batman (SE), Batman Returns (SE), and Batman Begins (SE). I want not part of the other Bat films. Ugh.

Oh well planning on finally ordering a region free DVD player next year so I will be able to get the region 3 collection that will be uncut and not dubbed then. And it also has Enter The Dragon which they have not been able to include in the North American collections :happy:
