Rep Power: 50   gXboxLive Leaderboard: 15th | Peter Jackson to Exec-Produce Halo A little while ago a rumor starting floating around that Peter Jackson was going to direct the upcoming HALO adaptation. I didn't take much stock into this. However confirmation has come out today of the following: Jackson has recently signed on to executive produce the movie. Not only that but he's bringing effects powerhouse WETA to handle the visual effects. This piece of news comes from bungie.net and has been verified by other places as well. If Jackson keeps up with his current schedule of films his involvement in this project will be limited. However the studio might extend it's timeline to allow him more involvement. Thoughts? | |

Rep Power: 15 | While I don't care much for Halo I have to say this is great news for the Halo movie. Even if he isn't involved as much as he could be he should still have a big impact on it and with WETA handling special effects the movie will look pretty impressive. |
