I saw "American Pie: Band Camp" advertised on the coming soon list at my video store the other day...

All the original characters have moved on, except there will be a cameo by Finch. Stifler's little brother Matt, wants to join his brother's business (Stifler has hit it big producing Girls Gone Wild videos) and after everything Matt has heard from Jim's bandgeek wife Michelle, he plans to go back to band camp and make a video of his own.... Bandies Gone Wild

This time around, the focus will be on Matt Stifler, younger brother of Steve Stifler, as Matt is sent to band camp for the summer when he faces expulsion from school. At first, Matt will attempt to wire the camp with hidden cameras to turn it into the set for his own "Girls Gone Wild"-type video, but when he falls for fellow campie Elyse, his efforts to stifle his Stiffmeister ways will surely meet with hilarious results.

As anybody actually seen this? It just seems as though they are bastardising the series by making this, but hopefully I am wrong

Yeah, I'd heard they were making this and yes it sounds horrible. But it also sounds like it's going straight to video so it'll be easier to ignore.

You're right about that. It went straight to video here. The mention of Finch just even making a cameo makes me interested though. Paul Finch is one of my favourite movie characters.

I actually was looking foward to Deuce Bigalow: Europeon Gigolo since I liked the first one but I chose not to see it after it got horrible reviews.

It sounds like total crap, which is a shame because American Pie the original was one of the funnier movies of all time.
