An Interesting Movie Poster

So there is this new movie in the works entitled "The Family Stone"

It revolves around the annual holiday gathering of a bohemian family that's thrown into turmoil when the fair-haired son introduces his fiancée, a high strung New York businesswoman whom the family hates.

It stars Diane Keaton, Claire Danes, Rachel McAdams, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Luke Wilson.

The initial promo stuff I have seen so far hasn't made me want to see the film.

But then I got to the movie poster....I will say this, the studio has balls in designing it.

I am now intrigued to see the trailer....wow.

I wasn't referring to her flipping people off Pink.

I mean they have none of the stars on the poster. Usually you see a glimpse of people in the movie on the poster...

I was saying they have balls to just put a woman's hand with a ring up there.

It means the movie is either really bad or they have a genius working their advertisements.

At first glance I thought it was the middle finger but then 2 seconds later it clicked.

Exactly it grabs your attention.

That's what I meant when it makes me want to see the trailer now to know more about this film.

Maybe it's just me though...I dunno

Your right, it's worked on me too I'm interested in what this film is about. Might try and catch the trailer. I probably wont end up going to see it.. unless a female needs escorting to the cinema that is ;o) lol

Pink's point was about flipping the bird.

I didn't say it was unusual.

I said it was "attention grabbing" just as these posters you put up are.

It takes guts to not put your stars on the movie poster and expect people to flock to it.

These movies are living proof that it works sometimes.
