Cage is an arms dealer who suddenly grows a consience and wants to give up his job, but no one will let him stop. So far the trailer has made this look like an interesting film. It's being released September 16th in the states. Any thoughts or comments on the film? | |

Rep Power: 10 | I went and saw this yesterday and it was a good insight into the gun running that goes on in the world. Some of the events in the film are true and it spans the 20 year careeer of Nicholas Cage's character as a runner. In some parts it's funny. For instance at the beginning he talks about how in the world there are enought guns for every 1 in 12 people and then he says "the problem is now how do you arm the other 11." Actually, it was interesting to learn that the major runners in the world are the US, China, France, and Russia and they all have permanent spots on the UN Security council. Overall. I recommend this flick if you haven't seen it. It has a good mix of facts, history, action, and dark humor. | |
