| John Leguizamo Joining ER I was reading TV Guide tonight and noticed that John Leguizamo is joining the cast of NBC's ER this season, marking his first major drama-series gig that I am aware of. According to the magazine, the actor/comedian will play a new doctor at County General in at least 12 episodes beginning in late October. ER premieres on Thursday, September 22 at 10/9c. | |||||||||||||||

| Isn't this a sign he's going down in his career? He's known for his award winning comedy acts and a few pretty big movies and now he's on ER? I know ER is one of the biggest shows on TV but still. | ||||||||||||||

| I would agree. I guarntee you he's collecting a big paycheck for this though. He might inject that needed shot of storyline interest into the show though as ER is in need of someone big to keep it going now that everyone is bailing out of the show. | |||||||||||||||

| Yeah, I guess it's not a huge drop for him since it's still a big show and still is one of the most watched TV shows. Who knows, maybe a little bit of serious drama will be good for his career. Put him in some direction he is looking to go in. It just seems weird though. I saw one of his comedy specials on HBO, the first autobiographical one, and have been extremely impressed with the man ever since. | ||||||||||||||
