Married With Children - Season Four on DVD

For all of us Bundy enthusiasts, just letting everyone know that Season 4 comes out Aug 30th and here's what's in store this time... I hope they have the Labour Day BBQ episode on this season, that rocked.

The most popular underachievers of the early 90s, the Bundys delivered a constant deluge of politically incorrect, macho jokes replete with sexual innuendo and an unabashedly crude flavor. The fourth season doesn't disappoint, with patriarch Al (Ed O'Neil), a women's shoe salesman and misanthropic malcontent, perennially battling his shopaholic wife's spending sprees, as well as her amorous advances. Peg (Katy Sagal), for her part, is a ditzy but curvaceous redhead who shows surprising cunning when it comes to getting her way. Daughter Kelly (Christina Applegate, ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY) takes after her mother in every way, a blond bombshell with a deficient IQ. Bud Bundy (David Faustino) rounds out the family, with his anomalous intelligence and high opinion of himself running contrary to his success with the ladies. In this season, the Bundy's influence on neighbor Steve (David Garrison) finally becomes too much for his wife, Marcy (Amanda Bearse) to handle, and she divorces him. This provides incentive for Peg to take newly-single Marcy to Las Vegas, where the pair's gambling ambition far outweighs their coffers.

In real life steve left the show to try a new show that tanked. Hhaa, well Jefferson was better. THis is still one of my favorite shows.

That's not what I heard, I watched the E! True Hollywood Story of Married With Children and they said he left so he could return to the theater.
But that is wrong, Kelly does not take after Peggy. Peg is not blond, and she may be lazy but she isn't dumb. And the only reason she divorces him is because he left her to become a park ranger.
I guess i'm not to suprised that Yahoo got importent details inaccurate.

In preparation for his departure, in the final episode shot (though confusingly, not the final episode aired) in which he was a regular, we see Steve becoming disenchanted with his and Marcy's yuppie lifestyle, and taking an increasing interest in nature and in becoming an outdoorsman (an actual real-life interest of Garrison's). He then disappears, it being explained that he has left Marcy to become a forest ranger at Yosemite National Park. During later seasons, Garrison would reprise the Steve Rhoades character on four occasions, returning to guest star in individual episodes.

Yep, i'm a big fan of Married With Children(although I don't really like Steve that much) so I don't like when people get facts wrong about the show.

Its ok Spidey, I just want them in my DVD collection, the problem with getting them on EBay is that a lot of you American Discs dont work on our UK DVD players

Ok, understood. It's odd it is not out in the UK yet though.

I would think you guys would have got it last year.

The problwem with it in the UK it didnt really ever have a decent time slot here(apart from one small run on Sky One at 6pm) its normally been stuck on late at night so it never got a huge following
