Jolie will star as the Queen of Darkness, a temptress who looks to distract Beowulf as he continues on his quest to become king. Jolie joins Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn, Ray Winstone and Brendan Gleeson in the film. Crispin Glover is also attached to play the monsterous Grendel. BEOWULF will be filmed using the motion capture (mo-cap) technology used by Zemeckis in THE POLAR EXPRESS. Jolie is currently filming THE GOOD SHEPHERD with Matt Damon for director Robert De Niro. | |
