I was driving home from a dinner with friends last night and my wife pointed out to me that we still have one drive-in movie place left in our town.
This is where you sit in your car and watch movies on an outdoor screen, for those of you who don't know what i'm talking about.
My question for all of you is one that I was thinking about; with the popularity of home movies over the past two decades has the art of the "drive-in movie" died? Or will it still exist for another few years?
Thoughts or Comments?

Drive-Ins are popular for the ones that exist. People show up 2 and 3 hrs in advance and sit outside while the kids play and they chat with friends. It isn't dying out. It just isn't as big as it use to be but it has found its fans and they are prety loyal.
I went and saw Fantastic 4 at the Drive-in a few weeks ago.

Maybe it's just here then. It's partially why I wanted to start this thread. I wanted to know if there were still any good drive-ins out there.
I miss going there on the weekends. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Well what is wrong with the one there? The one We went to has 3 different screens and a play area for kids.. There is also one right downtown.
