New Aslan the Lion in Narnia??

There have been rumors who is playing the voice of Aslan the Lion in the upcoming film " THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE", since Bryan Cox had to step down after having "voice changes" with his recent weight loss and the director's desire to have a younger actor fill the role.

The new voice has been rumored to be Liam Neeson. Neeson has been taking on a lot of mentor/leader roles lately so it should be a cinch for him to play the leader of Narnia. However, this might conflict with the filmmaker's desire to use a younger-sounding Aslan. So basically, it's just a rumor and someone could have very well just pulled it out of his or her ass. If it is true, though, it'd be pretty friggin great. NARNIA opens December 9th.

The Half Boy

It just won't be the same for me without Roland Pickups vocals. He did the voice in the original BBC series. It was a slow, British chime. Anything else will just shatter my fond childhood memories, I'm afraid.
