This special will be taped one week prior to air date. Anderson is the first female subject of a "Comedy Central Roast" and joins a list of past roastees that includes Drew Carey, Jeff Foxworthy, Chevy Chase, Denis Leary and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. Jimmy Kimmel will serve as the roast master for the evening, which will probably also include a few references to Anderson's PETA activism and her well-chronicled relationships with the likes of Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Joel Gallen ("Chris Rock: Never Scared," several MTV Movie Awards) is executive producing the special.
