War of the Worlds *Possible Spoilers*

Who's seen it? Just got back from seeing it and I must say this is up there with Star Wars as my favorite Summer movie this year. Spielberg did a bang up job and was able to create a film that was not only fun, but believable. I love how the film mostly focuses on Ray and his children and how they deal with the invasion rather than just the invasion itself.

I also seen this today and thought it was an amazing movie. I loved how there was non stop suspense from the very beginning to the very end. They didn't waste any time getting into the action/suspense. This wasn't an actionhero movie by any means Tom was portrayed as a dead beat dad somewhat at the beginning who evolved into stand up dad who just wanted to protect his children.

The Dude, did you notice that the aliens looks almost identical in the face to that of the aliens in ID4? I thought that died at the end was a dead ringer for it. I want to see this movie again it was that good.

I kept thinking they were not going to leave enough time for this to end properly but they did and it left me wondering what was going to happen minute to minute.

I give it 9 and 1/2 popcorns out of 10.

I didn't read what you guys wrote because I plan on seeing this movie soon, but I did see that The Dude gave it a 9 and Kal gave it a 9.5...

Saw it tonight as I had some time off from work and took it.

It was very good. Everyone involved did a great job.

I still prefer Batman to this one but I am a comic geek so sue me! lol
