The Santa Claus 3?

Word is coming from the moviehole website that Santa Claus 3 has been green lighted and is moving forward with production:

Quote:
First up, the site says that Spencer Breslin will reprise his role as Curtis in Disney's The Santa Clause 3. In the sequel, Scott Calvin's son Charlie is now living with him up a the North Pole. Scott must keep control over Christmas when the evil Jack Frost tries to take the holiday over for his own. Wendy Crewson, David Krumholtz, Eric Lloyd, Elizabeth Mitchell, Liliana Mumy and Judge Reinhold co-star.
Anyone see the first two movies? Thoughts or feelings about the 3 part to this series?

I like the Santa Clause movies. The second one wasn't even close to being as good as the first though. Still better than that complete crap called Elf.

As long as its still Tim Allen, it should be good. I'm a big fan of the first two (the original moreso than the second, but the sequel was decent), they're cute family films. I remember watching the first one over and over with my son when he was little.

You mean there's no Santa?! OMG! Now I'm going to have a good cry.... :frown2:

Seriously, I saw the second film in the theaters and thought it was ok. I don't really feel they need to make a sequel as I thought the first two were enough to stand on their own.
