"Doom" (Starring The Rock) - Updates

I heard a while back that there was a movie coming out called Doom, based on the video game that I'm sure a lot of you have heard of. I also heard that The Rock is going to be in this movie.

Anyone know when this is coming out or know anything about what I'm talking about at all?

All I know is Rocky is in it and starts off as a good guy. Some where along the line he gets transformed into the main villian

If it's better than "Be Cool" I will be happy. I didn't like that film.

Thanks guys...I don't know, I'm not a huge Doom nut or anything, but I have a lot of interest in this right now, and the fact that The Rock is in it makes me even more curious about it. I think this might be a movie where I just take a chance and go see it. If I waste $10 bucks on a ticket, oh well..

I'm not really too interested in it, I like to games but I just have concerns over how well it will translate into a movie. Us gamers know that a successful game franchise doesn't gurantee a successful or good movie.
