Some of these films have been out a week or more so take that into account when looking at the totals to this point. That being said Star Wars totals are mindblowing, the J-Lo flick being number 2 boggles the mind, and I am surprised Kicking and Screaming beat out Crash which got a lot more positive reviews. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Yes since this movie is only in week 2 and it's climbed the hurdle this fast I don't see it slowing down anytime soon either. This film deserves to be number one more than Titanic in my view.

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | I'm not a big fan of Titanic either. I didn't bother seeing it for the first 6 months it was out since I knew how it ended. ;) Actually that's kind of a point there, the length of time it was in the theaters. Not to say Titanic was bad, but to have over $600 million in US receipts? Only cause it sat in the theaters so long and was a cliched date movie. I think its worthy of being in the top 150, but not number 1. That movie's theater run outlasted 2 of my dating relationships lol...and I got stuck going to see it with both of them. ![]()

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | With Monday's box office in, the Sith take now stands at $172,802,507. Heh, tip money. That now places Sith firmly in 93rd place all-time, after only 5 days of release. I'm going to predict that Sith will be around the $210 million mark at the end of Thursday, and closing in on $300 million by the end of next weekend.

I knew it was #1, but I didn't realize it was over $600,000,000. I watched the movie and fell asleep. 3. Star Wars, Harry Potter, Matrix, LOTR, are like the biggest series EVER. 4. I haven't seen quite a few of these movies. 5. And finally, who the fuck went and seen Hitch?
