As of Wednesday Sith is up to $191,363,169. My $200 million prediction by Thursday is looking pretty solid. For those of you scoring at home, Sith now ranks #63 all-time after just 7 days of release. I think once school lets out the ticket sales are going to spike again, and especially over Memorial Day weekend coming up.
Assuming the $200 million figure is hit tomorrow, anyone want to lay guesses on what the total will be after Monday? I'm guessing $325 million.
If it's at $200 million after today (which it should be), then my prediction is about $275 after the weekend's up.
When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

It may be 63rd in the US, but worldwide it still isn't in the top 264. Does anybody think it can become the #1 movie worldwide? The current record belongs to Titanic at $1,835,300,000 worldwide.

Don't you realize it's the U.S. number that's more important?
But seriously, no. It's not going to reach that Titanic number worldwide because as many times as people go see the Star Wars flick it won't come near all the times dude's women made them sit through that crap Titanic to get some *****.
The U.S. number is simply more important because I live in the U.S. and not abroad. I actually did post the European takes in another thread.
I agree about the chick factor for Titanic. Seriously, it lingered in theaters forever and if your girlfriend wasn't after you to take her again to see it, she was going out with her friends to see it. Ugh. Should be an asterisk next to it or something.
$200,442,739 as of Thursday. That's good enough to move it into 59th place all-time. I'll check it again Tuesday to see how it fared after the holiday weekend.
