This is a discussion on Seinfeld Trivia Quizzes within the Entertainment forums, part of the Entertainment Forums category; The Chinese Resturant is CLASSIC.
Its the only episode that Kramer does not appear in....
I like the story they tell during the commentary for The Chinese Restaurant, about how NBC didn't want them to use that script and tried to force some changes to it because they were so nervous about the content...or lack of.
I was just watching another classic episode...George wants to out do Braun so he acts like he's selling more computers than him and stocking them at Kramer's house...classic stuff.
I also love when Braun is trying to get Jerry to buy that chinese gum.."Am I crazy of is that a lot of gum?"
LOL...how about George's parents in that episode? His mom screeching from offscreen killed me:
"YOU'RE NOT GIVING AWAY OUR WATERPICK!"
"GOOD JOB, LLOYD!!"
Not only were the principles outstanding but their recurring characters were spot-on perfect. Another thing I liked was all the references to past events in earlier shows/seasons...as mentioned, something we do ourselves in our lives. Everything that happened mattered and could resurface at any time in any season.
Blitz, there really is no reason to put "classic episode" as they are all classic episodes. haha
Serenity now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my ALL TIME favorite jokes on Seinfeld is when Jerry borrows Georges car and gets in an accident then puts it back in Georges Yankees parking spot.
Steinbrenner and the boys think George is dead so Steinbrenner goes to deliver the news to Georges parents. He explains how hard of a worker and great person George was. Frank Constanzas response:
"What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?!?" "He had 30 homeruns and over 100 RBI's"
Hahaha. I remember the first time I saw that I almost shit myself it was so funny.
I have this rare disease where I can watch the same Seinfeld episode 100 times and still laugh like its the first time I have seen it. I literally have watched over 20 episodes of Seinfeld everyweek for the past 10 years.
