Hellboy 2 is in the works!
Recently Ron Perlman the star of Hellboy was interviewed and gave up this little piece of information regarding a future sequel:

"Guillermo just finished the script and has handed it in to the studios. Now we have to wait for their response. He's shooting a film in Spain as we speak and as soon as he finishes that he'll got straight into preproduction of Hellboy 2. We should be shooting this time next year."

Sometimes I almost hate hearing about movies I want to see when I know I will be waiting almost 2 years to see it. It is frustrating.

If you have read the comics there is still a lot of story they could possibly tell.

I don't know...I like Hellboy and all but I was kind of bored at a lot of points during the first movie...I'd still watch a 2nd movie though..rent it or whatever.
