Harry Hill on David Letterman

Nobody probably noticed this bald British guy on Letterman (we get late versions over here so it could have been last nights episode or it could have been from before Christmas) but its just amazing how nerves cancel out someones performance.

Hes awful, a pure mess. The crowd are being really generous. But his voice is cracked, hes not even getting a lot of the punchlines out, when he has confidence on his show and his standup in Britain he CONTROLS the audience and on Letterman hes begging for a laugh.

Oh well..

It isnt really worth footage. He carried along the skit and he did *OK* I s'pose, really messed up a few parts and like I said, his voice was breaking. He looked out of breath and sweaty too.

Im just pointing out how he's a GOD of comedy in his comfortable homeland stage, and in a big American situation nerves did actually get to him. If you've been watching Harry Hill for years like me, you'd just think its unimaginable...

Sup Reilly, tis your arch nemesis DDG.

Anyway, I've been to see him live a couple of times actually in big audiences and he's very good, very unique style. I haven't seen Letterman but surely the audience can' be that big, or maybe he was thinking about the viewers at home? Can't imagine him choking, you sure it wasn't part of the act? What's he doing in the U.S. anyway has he got a show there or something?
