Popular TV shows you never cared for
Kind of an awkward title but the best I could come up with.

There's always been madly popular tv shows that seemingly everyone watches and loves. What tv shows were insanely popular yet never managed to catch your interest, no matter how many times you watched?

The inspiration for this post is the top of my list, Everyone Loves Raymond. Everyone except me anyway. I don't find Ray Romano to be particularly funny. The stories are not that engaging, the characters are pretty much cookie-cutter one dimensional, and the voices of some of those people give me nightmares. Seriously, between the voices of Ray and the guy who plays his brother...too much chlorine in the gene pool maybe?

There's a couple others I will add later, just curious whether its just me resisting pop culture or if anyone else finds some of these ratings winners to be really bad.

I never really watched Friends, cause it was always on when Smackdown was on. Haha, and I hate the OC!

i hate most popular shows. csi, friends, american idol, new simpsons (like the last 8 years)
i mostly watch cartoons. probably the most popular show i like is aqua teen hunger force. (and sometimes i sit thru desperate housewives, though i don't really Like it, except i really like that red head wife. ow)

I hate Friends, ER, CSI shows, and I used to hate Everyone Loves Raymond. Then I gave it a chance and love it now. I actually started watching a lot of cbs shows as of late, and can honestly say they have some real good shows on their network. King of Queens is also excellent...

Friends was another one on my list. Will and Grace is another one, that show is just vile...not to mention its not even a little bit funny.

I like quite a bit of popular shows.

But here are a couple that I have literally not seen more than 3 to 5 minutes of. The 3 to 5 minutes is also because it was on a say a friends house or at work briefly.


X-Files. Never seen it.
E-R. Never seen it.
All Star Treks except New Generation. (I watched NG when I was sick once in the 8th grade)


Sci-Fi sucks IMO. I never understood it nor wanted to.
