Well it starts in 10 mins on ITV in the UK. I believe D`lo Brown is one of the trainers for the show and ive also heard that Rowdy Roddy Piper has something to do with the show. Otherwise its supposed to be a legit take on celebrity boxing i.e. amatuer style wrestling - no works. So Im looking forward to seeing how this show pans out and i`ll be reporting back I`d appreciate other forummer`s comments too......
Yep, same here. Roddy seems to be the main presenter for my money, and he's stealing the show, even if he's reading a crappy script. And Vicky Silvstedt just came out.. holy crap, she perty!

Haha, yeah, totally. But for some reason, I'm still really enjoying it.. perhaps 'cos I'm viewing it as a parody - That Rebel Rider guy was blatantly using the "American Badass" gimmick, and Gentlemen Jim (James Hewitt) was old William Regal. What a legend..
Silvstedt still needs to wear smaller clothes though.

Entertaining, yeah a bit gladiatorish but it did borrow heavily from pro-wrestling on a psychology side, clear heels and faces emerging and, which is different from most british shows, attempts to draw heat.
Roddy Piper gives it real entertainment value and it does hold your intrest, esp whe viccy is competeing.
Gimmick infringement overload but hey, who truly has a new gimick even in the WWE (how much did gentleman jim remind you of hunter hurst helmsly).
I give this show a tentitive 4/5 and it could become either a cult clicky show or, if the games all stay the same, another gladiator turkey. I`ll be tuning in next week but i cant garuntee anything after that.
