The Half Boy

From the trailers, it looks like the FF movie is going to follow the original comic series, rather than the Ultimates series. I think both the X Men and Spiderman movies have been loosely based on their repective Ultimate series, but the FF trailer shows the team getting hit by cosmic rays in outer space, which is how they devoloped their powers originally. In the Ultimate series, their powers were formed when an experiment in teleportation through an Nth dimension backfired, and the team, along with Doom, were fried with juice.

There's a scene in the trailer where Reed stretches his hand under the door.

Both Johnny and Sue look at him and Johnny says "That's disgusting"

Taking that and what you just said, gave me an image I don't want in my head.
