Cast Notes: Michael Sheen and Shane Brolly are said to be returning for the film, even though their characters were killed off in the last one. Director Len Weisman has said the movie starts off with a flashback, so presumably they'll appear there.

Premise: Selene the vampire and her lover, Michael the werewolf-hybrid, are caught in the middle of the continuing war between the two immortal races.

Based Upon: A sequel to 2003's Underworld. The director has stated in interviews that the story was originally conceived as a trilogy, with the third installment possibly being a prequel.

Filming: Filming began November, 2004 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Most people didnt like the first one so much. Atleast thats what I gather. I personally thought it was pretty cool. Decent story, good effects, and good acting. I know it's ripping off a lot of movies or whatever so I hear, but I think its still cool as hell...

Basically about Vampires against Werewolves, the werewolves want to create a hybrid of both species and get one of the vampires onside to help. Obviously this is against what the Vampires want and so they bring back their big master to help them stop this happening.

Think Blade with a woman hero.

I personally can't see what they can do with the second btw.

I just saw the movie this weekend and it kicked ass. Lots of blood, gore, and mayhem. And the story itself answers a lot of questions about the origins of the vamipres and lychens, as well as gives more insight into Selene. Oh and it doesn't hurt to see Scott Speedman running around without a shirt for most of the film either :baa:
