...never seems to end with a good movie, let alone a great one as the end product. It may recieve a lot of attention and money, but it's pointless really.
Movie makers would be better off basing their ideas on movies that went wrong, or not so popular ones which had good ideas or something in them. That's if they feel such a need to 'remake' or 'improve' a film.
I know they're doing so many remakes as of late, leave the classics alone. Within the next 2 months you've got remakes of The Amytiville Horror, House of Wax, and The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (the original was a BBC serial)... Have some originality people!!
