I just read that the new director is planning to bring Bond back to its roots, which hopefully means none of the over the top crap, the directors of the last couple of films were making. Die Another Day, was terrible.

Thus, who do you think would make a good James Bond. Apparantly Clive Owen has already been decided on, but who should it be? Colin Farrel, Ewan McGregor, Robbie Williams?

Clive Owen was asked this very question in the recent press conferences for Sin City. This is what he had to say...

"Clive, have you heard anything more about playing Bond. What’s going on?

Clive: The same as always. There’s nothing to it whatsoever. That’s just people writing about it. It’s not substantiated at all."

Also one Bond has already been decided upon. They are making a young James Bond movie. This is in addition to "Casino Royale" which is the Bond movie Pierce Brosnan was replaced for.

"LONDON: British actor Orlando Bloom actor has been signed by Miramax to play young James Bond in his new movie which is based on the college days of this widely popular secret agent.

There were rumours floating that Bloom is taking over the role of James Bond from Pierce Brosnan in the next film due out next November.

According to Ananova , Bond producers were looking for a new leading man and Bloom was the lucky guy who got the role."

Itsonly for the young bond movies not Casino Royale. It'll be Daniel Craig or Clive Owen not dount about it. Unless Dougray Scott changes his mind.

The rumor of Orlando Bloom playing a young James Bond was recently proven as false. Please see the below article for details...

Yeah, we're likely to place a moratorium on all JoBlo.com stories having to do with rumors about who the f*ck is going to be the next James Bond after this one, as this gossip is really getting ridiculous at this point, with a different person being rumored, almost every....single....day. If you're keeping track, Daniel Craig, the man best known for playing a character named Alex West in the original TOMB RAIDER, is according to many reports, already the next James Bond (for CASINO ROYALE), but I'm still hoping that rumor is false as well. Anyway, our very own Christopher Gaede was at the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN junket recently, and got this latest bit of news straight from Orlando Bloom's mouth, in terms of him playing a "younger version" of Bond, a story which we reported just last week HERE. Here's what the-man-who-would-be-a-young-Bond had to say about all that:

"I'm not doing young James Bond. No, no, no. My cousin called me up and said "is there something you're not telling me?" "I said what's that?" "That you're playing young James Bond". I was like, I just saw it on CNN. My manager, my agent, have never mentioned it to me, not to date. Young or old, it has never been mentioned to me. I don't know where that came from. I've never heard a whiff of it."
