Rep Power: 24   | The Truman Show I'd be a bit surprised if no one else was watching this on TBS at some point today. Anyway, I've decided that The Truman Show might be my favourite movie ever. I don't know why I never gave it credit before, but every minute of this movie either entertains or fascinates or moves me in some way... I just love the concept, and it's really well-written. I know the plot isn't something that was UNTHINKABLE before the movie came out, but I'd still like to see more big-time movies come out where the script actually involved a new idea. | |

Rep Power: 19 | Yeah, it was a pretty good movie. Not my FAVORITE but I would rank it highly. It's sad that it didn't get a little more attention from more mainstream viewers. Maybe then Jimbo would get more respect. |

Rep Power: 24 | I used to side with the folks who thought Jim was being a bitch, just doing serious movies to win an Oscar, but then I came to my senses and realized he's a fucking good actor. The Truman Show, Man On the Moon, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind... these are all damn good films, and he's great in each. Plus I don't know if the goofy rubber-man schtick is still funny to people. | |

Rep Power: 19 | I still would like to see him talk out of his ass one more time. I think he's got a great chance at the Oscar sometime in the future. He was pretty good in that movie about Communism too (I forget the name) despite the story being horrific and slow. |

Rep Power: 41 | Yeah...it was something about a theatre. Magic Theatre? Mystery Theatre? I dont really remember He was fantastic in Eternal Sunshine. And Man on the Moon is one of my faves. I like Truman Show, but not nearly as much as Man on the Moon | |

Rep Power: 17 | The Majestic is the movie ur refering too. The Truman Show is awesome. I loved it from the first time I watched it. Imo Jim Carey is one the better actors out there. In the Cable Guy he was amazing. Actually he was AMAZING in every movie he has acted in. | |

Rep Power: 23 | I agree. Truman show, not quite my favorite, but definitely up near the top. The Village is also one that is along the same concept/plot, and is another one of my favorite movies. They're interesting ideas that are pretty weird to think about. | |
