Anyone watch this?

I watched the first two episodes last week, and it seems to be a pretty good show. Only problem is that its hard to keep track of all the characters, although the second episode kinda cleared things up a little

The entire first season is on HBO On Demand right now, so I'll probably watch the rest of them soon

I am waiting to season 2. it is a pretty good series and it is prolly a lot closer to what the real west was like way back then. Although the Wild Bill thing was odd because well.. I won't say incase due to spoilers but you will see.

I just watched that episode. I knew it was gonna happen though, because it really happened, and its a pretty famous story. The hand he had when he got shot is called the "Dead Man's Hand". I believe its a full house, Aces over eights

Actually he had a pair of 8's and A's. Ya I know it was a true story but it was just odd to see them play it out like that. They really do a great job in recreating Deadwood.

I looked him up online, and apparently during his time in Deadwood he was constantly drunk and getting arrested. Much different than how they portrayed him

Also, I was suprised how early into the show he was killed. 4th episode

I watched the season 2 premiere last night. Wow, that was intense...

*spoilers ahead*






I didnt think the fight with Al and Seth was gonna happen so early. I guess they wanted to start the show off with a bang. I also thought it was kinda weird when Al was gonna stab Seth, but then backed off when he saw the kid. Was this maybe the show's way of saying that maybe Al isnt quite so cold-blooded? That would be a nice little contrast to his character.

And how about that sex scene? Seth was going to town!!! lol

And some of those new hookers that are gonna be working at Joanie's brothel were freaking hot! That dark-haired one that was on the balcony with her and Cy (I think her name was Lila) was awesome. As was the blonde one that Cy offered to Joanie

By the way, Al Swearengen is already one of my favorite tv characters of all time. The episode in season one with him and Mr. Wu was freaking great.

Damnit I missed it. I thought it was on Sundays? Hmmm,they will prolly show it again. I didn't read the spoilers so I will wait. It might be a different day here.

yeah, it plays on Sundays. the premiere was two days ago, but i missed it so i watched the replay last night. They usually replay it all week, so you can probably look up the schedule and see when it plays again. It was a great episode
