Bullock had his ass til that prick jumped in the the shotgun butt. Al waqsn't gonna kill the boys father right in front of him and create an enemy for himself later in life.

I am still a little lost because i missed a few of the last episodes of season 1 but am catching on slowly.

Did Al know that it was Bullock's son? How would he know?

Anyway, this week's episode was kinda uneventful. Although that thing with the thumb in the ass had me laughing pretty hard

People always seem to know who in arriving on the stage coach.

The thumb thing was pretty funny lol. I love how casual everyone is about murder sex and crime. Good stuff.

I read something online from a review that actually makes a little more sense:

As Al stated later in the episode, "that cow eyed kid un-manned me..." meaning Bullocks nephew/son's horrified gaze raised sympathy in Al, so he didn't use his knife...although I'm sure his need for Bullock in the upcoming struggle with the Yankton legislature was in the back of his mind...

Yeah...I was doing some DVD shopping earlier in the week and I saw that and got all excited and then I saw the price. I like the show, but not THAT much. It was like 100 bucks

"Deadwood" Devil to Star in Woody Allen's Next Film
Posted by Scott Weinberg on Monday, Jun. 06, 2005, 12:27 AM

Scott Weinberg writes: "Variety informs that the painfully entertaining Ian McShane (best known as Al Swearengen on HBO's "Deadwood") will spend his hiatus working on Woody Allen's next movie. Scarlett Johansson is already on board (having just worked with Mr. Allen on "Match Point") and the trio will get to the moviemaking in England some time real soon. (Ian has to be back in "Deadwood" for Season 3!)"
