| Pearl Jam add dates
Pearl Jam and Tom Petty have extended their run of co-headlining shows with a June 29-30 stand in Milwaukee at Summerfest, an annual 11-day event also featuring such acts as Nine Inch Nails and Mary J. Blige.
A special presale for the Marcus Amphitheater event is underway now for members of Pearl Jam's Ten Club fan organization. The cost is $203 for a pair of tickets for each night.
Both bands are expected to play full sets as part of the bill, which will also visit St. Paul, Minn., on June 26-27 and Denver on July 2-3. Pearl Jam's summer tour begins May 9 in Toronto.
"It's in the middle of the whole tour, so we'll get to go out and change it up a little bit," Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament told Billboard.com of the Petty dates. "We love Tom and his band. It will be a cool, special show for people." |
