| Can someone explain the last episode of voyager Right first off, I would just like to say that Voyager was my favourite of all the treks, so much so that it was the only reason I maintained my cable subscribtion. Once I had seen the last episode, that was it. However, even though I have seen this episode a number of times, I feel cheated because I don't really understand the logistics of the final moments.
My query then.A Borg ship is chasing voyager and firing on it. Chakotay asks 7 of 9 where the nearest aperture is, to which she replies "30 seconds away, but it leads back to the Delta qudrant". In the next scene, Star Fleet have assembled all available ships, and when told a ship is approaching, told to use all necessary force against it. That ship is the Borg ship which is now IN FRONT of Voyager. A few seconds after that, Voyager itself comes flying through the debris of the Borg ship, only to come face to face with the Star Fleet ships - obviously not the Delta quadrant after all. Have I not realised something I should have? - why was the Borg ship first, and why was 7 wrong? |
