I just didn't think this movie had any dramatic backbone whatsoever.

Too long, too repetitive.

Hanks is a decent actor but I don't think he's made anything good since Castaway.

I think Tom Hanks didnt fit the part. The movie was allright tho.

I thought it was decent, but I would have liked to find out more about Jude Law's character. He was really interesting, and the knuckle-coin thing was kind of cool...

Invictus

I thought Road to Perdition was a fantastic film, and I thought Hanks played the part very well. The only reason I feel people didn't like it, was because that there was not a great deal of action or violence and it was a gangster film. I must admit I walked in expecting mindless gang violence, but instead was treated to a moving tale with great actors. Paul Newman is also very good in this.

As for Hanks not making a good film since Castaway, I would like to point out, you're wrong, IMO films like the Terminal and Catch me if You Can are superb. Ladykillers wasn't great but everyone has a bad day. I hate the COhens too which doesn't help.

The ending was pretty good. I don't remember much, but I thought it was good.

Creature of the Night

I really didnt like Catch Me if You Can, thought it sucked to be honest. The Terminal was average for me and although the concept and the way it was executed was cool, it did nothing to make me want to buy it on a DVD or touch me in any way. Castaway on the other hand was really cool, and even though it was long it kept me interested.

I have Catch Me if You Can and I liked it. To think that it's based on a true story, and that someone actually did that, makes it even more amazing to me.
