Kind of an old movie (I finally saw Matilda in its entirety last night), but I enjoyed this. I even ordered it online, proof that I'm not joking. Danny Devito can be entertaining at times, even though I'm not his biggest fan. The last movie I liked of his (before seeing this one) was Kindergarden Cop; so that wasn't yesterday.

Death to Bouchie was a pretty good Danny Devito movie (though nobody else seems to like it).
Is it just me, or does Bouchie start all of the threads in the movie forum? ;)
When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
Luke 21:20-28
It's true. I thought it would be stupid at first, but the more I watched the more I liked it. Ended up watching the whole thing, which wasn't the original plan for my Saturday night, but oh well.

Since when was he in kindergarden cop?
Anyways yeah good movie, that girl was a good child actor...
Matilda is an excellent movie, it seriously does looks awful, but its surprisingly good. I think the adverts and general promotion all those years ago made it look like one of those 'Children can do anything and rebel against the adults' stupid type things, but its a lot more subtle than that. And Danny DeVito is the ultimate dickhead parent in this, hes amazing.
As for Mickykal, Death to Smoochie is one of my favourite movies ever, in comedy at least. In todays dieing comedy genre, Smoochie is an absolute classic, I mean that. Every scene and line of that movie has a purpose, in terms of brilliant comedy with a brilliant, structured storyline. Any comedy movies since the turn of the century have either been shit or decent with no structure, Kevin Smith movies for example. 2000's "How High" with Methodman and Redman was excellent though, Im sure theres been others, but Smoochie is stone fox.
Its been my wallpaper for about 18 months, I bought the DVD a long time ago and then sold it for half its price to get a newer one because it had added extras.
