Tom Hanks is horrible. Matt Damon is pretty good. I thought Leonardo was good, that I thought he was the next Al Pacino (The greatest of all time). Hes not even close tho.
I think Tom Hanks is a terrific actor; he's way more versatile than he gets credit for too.
My pick would be Johnny Depp I guess, although he's made a couple bad movies (I can't think of anyone who hasn't). Other good choices are Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, Brad, Pacino, Spacey, et al.
I saw Big the other day for the first time in a long time and he was awesome in that. I think he acted as a kid better then most kid actors do lol.

Compare Tom Hamks to a guy like Pacino, DeNiro, Brando and youll notice that hes crap lol. But I gotta admit, his movies are awesome. Pacino hardly chooses a good script.
Why, because they play the same role movie after movie after movie? Ya, as they got older they took some comedy roles, and Pacino has stepped outside the box With Angels in America,but I wouldn't say Hanks is crap compaired to them at all.
Hanks is a much wider range of talent. From a Forst Gump to a soldier, a mobster, gay man with aids, you name it he played it. Something I don't think DeNiro, Brando or Pacino could pull off. Although like I said, Pacino has shown he does know how to act outside of his box.
IMO Robert De Niro has not made a good film for the last 15 - 20 years. Analyase This and That, Rocky and Bullwinkle, 15 Minutes, Showtime, Heat, Meet the Parents, all total and utter crap. Casino was his last good film.
As for Pacino I'm not so sure he picks some odd films to do which is respectable because not many famous actors would do that and his performance in Any Given Sunday is terrific. Especially his speech before the final game.
Brando????? Apart from Apocalyse Now I don't rate his films but he was a great actor.
Hanks...hes the best, like IDA said no other actor in this lifetime has played such a diverse set of roles and played them well. Saving Private Ryan was saved by his amazing perfomance, Apollo 13, Road to Perdition, the Terminal (I love that film), Forrest Gump, Big, Philadelphia all great, great films.
